Overview
Pocket Pandit is SynchSoft's own Vedic astrology app — "Panchang, Muhurat & Rashifal" as the App Store listing puts it — daily Panchang, Muhurat tracking, AI Horoscope insights, astrology reports, reading history, and full birth-chart generation in a clean, modern mobile experience.
It's part of the proof behind "we practice what we preach": the same team that builds client apps ships its own products to the same standard, and this one holds a 5.0 rating on the App Store.
Outcome: A live, 5.0-rated consumer app on iOS and Android, built and operated in-house.
The Problem
Vedic astrology is deeply structured — Panchang elements, Muhurat windows, planetary positions — but most apps serving it are cluttered, dated, or bury the daily essentials under ads.
The product needed to:
- Present the daily Panchang at a glance, accurately computed
- Track Muhurat windows people actually plan their days around — Brahma, Abhijit, Vijaya, Godhuli, Nishita — with alarms, plus live Choghadiya timing and Rahu Kaal alerts
- Generate complete birth charts from date, time, and place of birth
- Feel like a modern consumer app, not a almanac port
The Solution
The essentials, daily
The app opens on what matters each day — Panchang details and Muhurat timings — computed and presented without clutter.
Birth charts, generated
Full chart generation from birth details turns a traditionally manual, expert-driven artifact into something a user gets in seconds — with AI Horoscope insights and daily astrology reports layered on top, and a reading history that keeps every insight available.
Built like client work
Designed, built, and shipped through the same delivery process SynchSoft runs for clients — which is the point: the product line is the portfolio.
Results
- 5.0 rating on the App Store
- Live on both stores — App Store and Google Play, in English and Hindi, fully offline
- In-house product — designed, built, and operated by SynchSoft
